  • Ethel Barrymore Theatre, section: Front Mezzanine, rangée: E, siège: 8
The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time
    Great view of the stage!
  • Ethel Barrymore Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine, rangée: F, siège: 107
The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time
Dead center seat in the last row of the Rear Mezzanine. Cheap seat with a full view of the stage but sight lines are definitely a bit tough. Sound is fine.
  • New York City Center, section: Balcony, rangée: F, siège: 132
    1776
Awesome balcony view of the stage. The City Center is fairly cavernous, but the sight lines from the lower balcony are still great.
  • Ethel Barrymore Theatre, section: Rear Mezzanine, rangée: F, siège: 8
    The Band's Visit
I could see the whole stage and all the action, though sight lines were a bit strained. Sound was perfectly fine. Photo taken post-show with the stage lights on.

    The Band's Visit
I could see the whole stage and all the action, though sight lines were a bit strained. Sound was perfectly fine. Photo taken post-show with lights out on the stage.
  • Jungle Theater, section: House, rangée: B, siège: 8
    Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley
Wonderful seats! Could see and hear everything perfectly.
  • Hartford Stage, section: D, rangée: 5, siège: 13
    The Comedy of Errors
Fantastic seat. I could see and hear everything. Hartford Stage has some of the best sight lines and sound design of any theater I've been in, so while this seat is fantastic, there's not really a "bad" seat in the house.
  • Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum - Hangar 3, section: General Admission, rangée: 6
    Blueprint Specials
Pop-up stage in Hangar 3 with General Admission seating. This view is from the 6th row back, dead center. Seating unpadded, VERY tight, and on flat ground.
  • Broadway Theatre - 53rd Street, section: Orchestra, rangée: M, siège: 28
    Miss Saigon
Definitely a partial view seat. You see about 85% of the action at any given time. I was very glad to have been able to move closer to the center at intermission, due to some empty seats next to me.
  • Hudson Theatre, section: Balcony, rangée: G, siège: 113
    1984
You see all the downstage action, but being high up in the balcony means the top curtain (below the proscenium) cuts off the top of the stage. You don't miss anything important, but you won't get the full effect of the production. Sound is loud and clear.
  • New York City Center, section: Orchestra, rangée: CC, siège: 110
    Assassins
Perfect view for a concert-style theatre performance like "Assassins". May be too close to the stage for some. The large majority of the sound comes from the actors themselves and not the microphone.
  • Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, section: Orchestra L, rangée: B, siège: 9
    Come From Away
Front row partial view seat, purchased via rush ticket. You'll see about 95% of the action and will get the thrill of seeing and hearing the actors up close!
  • Ordway Center for the Performing Arts - Music Theater, section: Gallery, rangée: D, siège: 207
    Silent Night
Given how open the Ordway's Music Theater is, a center Gallery seat like this one is a great place to sit if you want to see a Minnesota Opera performance without breaking the bank. The stage actually seems closer in real life than what this photo depicts.
  • Vivian Beaumont Theater, section: Orchestra Left, rangée: C, siège: 105
    Oslo
You can't always see or hear clearly when the actors are facing away from you, BUT you literally get within inches of some of the actors and the action is all right in front of you.

  • Dunkin' Donuts Park, section: S16, rangée: B
    Hartford Yard Goats
At the very least, you get a great view of the Hartford Skyline!
  • Dunkin' Donuts Park, section: 211
    Hartford Yard Goats
View from the standing room spots behind all the seats in the section.
  • Dunkin' Donuts Park, section: 111, rangée: H, siège: 5
Hartford Yard Goats vs Binghamton Rumble Ponies
Great view and in the shade!
  • Rentschler Field, section: 113, rangée: 16, siège: 26
U.S. Men's National Team vs Ghana
Among the best of the cheap seats. Just a couple of rows back from top of the lower level and right near the corner flag. The entrance to the U.S. Team's locker room was at the bottom of the section, so there were numerous close-up views of the players.
  • Hudson Theatre, section: Balcony, rangée: G, siège: 112
    1984
You see all the downstage action, but this show has a lot of video projections. Being high up in the balcony means the top curtain (right below the proscenium arch) cuts off thu top of the video projection screen. You don't miss anything important, but you also don't get the full effect of the production. Sound is loud and clear (trust me haha). Legroom is tight (what else do you expect at a Broadway theatre)?
